Community Events assist with planning an event on one of many levels. You might be involved in overall event planning, or you can lead or join a team and help plan a voter registration drive, health fairs or fundraisers and coordinate your team’s day-of-event activities. There are also opportunities for people who aren’t on teams and want to volunteer their time as individual participants or as onsite volunteers.
Administration is for you if you are task-oriented, enjoy customer service, and like working in a friendly office environment in a clerical capacity answering phones; taking messages, greeting, and assisting office visitors; organizing materials and assembling packets.
